The rules Piece of Cake plays

Match suit or value, stack matching values, and empty your hand first.

Goal

Be the first player to empty your hand.

Matching

Play a card that matches the top card by suit or value. You can stack cards of the same value in one play.

Aces

Aces are wild for suit. When you play one, choose the new suit.

Jokers

Jokers can be played as any card: choose both the suit and the value. The card you name still has to match the top card by suit or value — unless you name an Ace, which can be played on anything.

Trick cards

2s make the next player pick up 2 cards. 3s make the next player pick up 3 cards. 8s skip players. Jacks reverse the turn direction. Black Kings add 5 pickup cards, while red Kings cancel one black-King pickup layer already below them.

Can't play?

Pick up a card from the deck and pass the turn.

Pickup stacks

Pickup cards can be stacked by matching the active pickup rank. The Ace of Spades clears the active pickup stack and must be played on its own when clearing debt.

This is the rulesheet in the app under Help → Switch. Every roll, deal and move is checked on our servers, so nobody can bend the rules.
