How Gin Rummy plays

Draw, then discard. On your turn take one card from the stock or the discard pile, then discard one card to end your turn.
Build melds. Sets are three or more cards of the same value. Runs are three or more cards in sequence of the same suit.
Cut your deadwood. Cards not in a meld are deadwood, and they count against you. Getting to zero is the whole game.
Go gin. After drawing, go gin if discarding one card leaves all ten of your remaining cards in melds — zero deadwood. That is the only way to end a round: no knocking, so there is no settling for a narrow lead.
Bigger tables welcome. Piece of Cake adapts Gin Rummy for up to 14 players using extra decks. Each round the player who goes gin wins and leaves the table, everyone else is redealt — and the last player left is the loser.

The full rules live in-app under Help → Gin Rummy. Every move is validated server-side, so it’s structurally impossible to cheat or to see another player’s hand.

Goal
